Out of Control

Created during a phase or space related art this piece was done in acrylic on canvas. While I was working a couple of years ago I learned that a kid at my school had just committed suicide, I'm sorry to say I did not know this person but I really started thinking about his death and sort of modified this piece in the process. Instead of just an astronaut lost in space it sort of obtained a new meaning about how some things in life just can't be prevented. However I've heard the theory that we all came from the stars and that death just means going back up there. Not to get all deep there for my first entry but this piece has quite a bit of emotional content attached to it.
